then they spit it out

scratching post unused
all the shoes will be destroyed
there's no hope for the rug
catnip in my face
rolling over on my head
feet up in the air
something new to see
i jump in the kitchen sink
but i'm not allowed
chasing up the stairs
cats go crazy, lunatics
running through the house
humans look away
i'll jump on the table now
then they take me off
